As a leader in the field of vehicle safety, Mercedes-Benz Active Safety Experience is proud to offer 'First Gear' a young, licensed driver safety initiative.

Our First Gear program is open to the children (and their friends) of customers who purchased their vehicle from an authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership. The half day program covers vital driving and safety principals that have real-world benefits for young licensed drivers.

These include:

- Understanding the vehicle's capabilities
- Recognising risks
- Avoiding dangers
- Handling critical situations

First Gear will inform, educate and provide practical experience for your children. It also addresses the attitudes and behaviours that affect young drivers when they take to the road.

Please note that a fee of $95 per person applies for participation in the First Gear program.
